Terms of Use

Last updated 2 August 2026

Overview

These terms cover the use of NextClass: the website at elearning.someless.top and the two Android apps, E‑learning Student Portal and E‑learning Tutor Portal. Using the platform means accepting them.

The platform lets a college run its teaching administration online: registering students and tutors, assigning subjects and courses, publishing notes, and sending announcements. It is provided to colleges, and through them to their students and staff.

The platform is a tool a college uses. It does not set or verify a college's academic decisions, records or results.

Accounts

Accounts are created by a college. Nobody signs up for themselves, and there is no public registration. A college reaches its own administration area with a private access token issued to it, and is responsible for who it gives that token to.

  • Your sign in details are yours alone. Do not share them.
  • Tell your college at once if you think someone else has them.
  • You are responsible for what is done through your account.

Repeated failed sign in attempts lock an account for a period. That is deliberate, and your college office can help if it happens to you.

Acceptable Use

When using the platform you agree not to:

  • sign in to an account that is not yours, or let anyone else use yours;
  • upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share;
  • attempt to reach another college's records, or another person's;
  • probe, scan or interfere with the platform, or try to work around the checks that decide what you may see;
  • use the platform to send anything abusive or misleading to students or staff.

Notes and Materials

Notes uploaded by a tutor remain the work of the person or college that created them. Uploading them gives the platform permission to store and display them to the readers who are entitled to see them, and nothing more.

Notes are provided for reading by the students who take that subject. They are not to be copied, redistributed, sold or republished. The apps and the website do not offer a download, and working around that to obtain a copy is a breach of these terms.

A tutor may remove their own notes at any time.

College Data

The records a college enters, meaning its students, tutors, subjects, courses and announcements, belong to that college. Administrators can add, change and delete them from their own administration area.

Deleting a record removes it from the database, and any file belonging to it is removed from storage.

Availability

The platform is offered as it is. Reasonable care is taken to keep it running and to keep data safe, but no promise is made that it will be available without interruption or free of faults.

Maintenance, an upgrade, a network failure or a problem at a hosting provider may make it unavailable for a period.

The platform supports a college's own work; it does not replace the college's own records. A college should keep its own copies of anything it cannot afford to lose.

Suspension

An account or a college's access may be suspended where these terms are broken, where the platform is being misused, or where doing so is necessary to protect other users or the service itself.

A college may stop using the platform at any time.

Privacy

How personal information is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes

These terms may change as the platform changes. The date at the top changes with them, and the current version always appears at this address. Continuing to use the platform after a change means accepting the new version.

Contact

Students and tutors should contact their own college first. The help desk numbers are on their portal's sign in page.
